Samsung Electronics announced the global launch of its 2024 monitor lineup, including the Odyssey OLED gaming monitors, Smart Monitors, and ViewFinity models, packed with innovative features.
Odyssey OLED Series: Advanced Visuals and Burn-In Prevention
The Odyssey OLED lineup introduces the Odyssey OLED G8 and G6, featuring Samsung’s proprietary burn-in protection technology. The G8 offers a 32” 4K UHD display with a 240Hz refresh rate, while the G6 has a 27” QHD display with a 360Hz refresh rate. Both models include the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor for upscaling content and Samsung OLED Safeguard+ to prevent burn-in. Additionally, the Dynamic Cooling System and low-reflection OLED Glare Free technology enhance performance and user experience.
Smart Monitor M8: Enhanced AI Features
The updated Smart Monitor lineup includes the M8, M7, and M5 models. The 32” 4K UHD Smart Monitor M8 features AI upscaling, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, and 360 Audio Mode. It also supports Samsung Dex and includes a Workout Tracker that pairs with a Galaxy Watch for real-time health data. The M7 and M5 offer various sizes and resolutions, enhancing entertainment and productivity with Smart TV apps and Samsung TV Plus.
ViewFinity Series: Optimized for Professionals
The ViewFinity lineup, designed for creatives and professionals, includes the S8, S7, and S6 models. These monitors are made with recycled plastic and feature easy-to-assemble stands. The ViewFinity S8 offers 27” and 32” 4K UHD displays with HDR10 support and a USB hub. The S80UD model includes a KVM switch and USB-C port for device charging. The S7 and S6 models come in various sizes and resolutions, with the S60UD model also featuring a built-in KVM switch and USB-C port.
