SAN DIEGO, Microsoft Build 2024 – Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. has expanded its Qualcomm® AI Hub to include support for Snapdragon® X Series Platforms. This expansion aims to streamline development and leverage on-device generative AI for next-gen Windows PCs. Developers can now optimize their own AI models for these devices, enhancing responsiveness, privacy, reliability, and user personalization.

Key Highlights:

  • Expanded Support: The Qualcomm AI Hub now includes support for Snapdragon X Series Platforms, providing top-tier CPU and the fastest NPU for laptops.
  • Developer Flexibility: Developers can now upload and optimize their own models specifically for Snapdragon platforms, in addition to accessing a library of over 100 pre-optimized AI models available on Hugging Face and GitHub.
  • Enhanced Development: The AI Hub offers resources and tools to maximize on-device AI performance, simplifying the optimization and validation process to speed up development cycles.

Leading PC manufacturers such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, and others are set to release PCs powered by Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus Compute Platforms. This will allow developers to use the Qualcomm AI Hub to enhance user experiences on these new devices.

Additional Features:

  • Broad AI Tool Support: Snapdragon X Series Platforms support a wide range of AI development tools, including deep integration with ONNX Runtime and Hugging Face Optimum, as well as compatibility with Llama.cpp.
  • Educational Resources: Qualcomm Technologies, in partnership with DeepLearning.AI, offers an online course on implementing on-device AI for applications. Developers can also subscribe to a monthly newsletter for the latest updates.

By expanding the Qualcomm AI Hub to support Snapdragon X Series Platforms, Qualcomm is enabling more advanced, responsive, and personalized AI applications for next-gen Windows PCs.
