The HONOR Magic Moments Awards, now in its fourth annual edition, has announced its global mobile photography competition for 2024. Running from now until August 6, the competition invites Malaysian photography enthusiasts to submit their entries across six categories: On the Way, We, Protection, The Moment, The Story, and Video. With a total of 59 prizes up for grabs, participants are encouraged to capture authentic human stories and emotions using their HONOR smartphones.
The categories aim to showcase the diverse capabilities of mobile photography, with the Protection category emphasizing efforts towards a sustainable future. The top prize, Photographer of the Year, offers a cash prize of RM10,000, while two winners of the Master of Photography Award will receive RM5,000 each. Additionally, three winners of the Prestigious Photographer Award will be awarded the latest HONOR Magic6 Pro, and 10 HONORable Photographer Award winners will receive the latest HONOR Number Series smartphone.
Moreover, participants have the opportunity to win from a prize pool exceeding USD100,000, with USD15,000 allocated for the Photographer of the Year. Winners will be announced in September.

Since its inception three years ago, the awards have garnered over a million submissions from 51 countries and regions, with 320,000 participants worldwide, showcasing the immense potential of mobile photography.

HONOR continues to push the boundaries of mobile photography with AI-enhanced tools and cutting-edge optical technology. The flagship HONOR Magic6 Pro boasts the next-generation HONOR Falcon Camera System, driven by platform-level AI, enabling fast shooting across various focal ranges and scenarios, particularly in sports photography.
