In a recent announcement, FUJIFILM Malaysia introduced its latest addition to the instax series of analog instant cameras, the instax mini 99™ (mini 99™). This high-end model aims to redefine instant photography by offering users innovative features and enhanced print expressions.
The mini 99™ boasts several key features designed to elevate the user experience. One notable feature is the Color Effect Control, which allows users to apply lights of different colors directly to the film, resulting in six unique color expressions. Additionally, the Vignette Mode reduces exposure around the edges of the image, drawing focus to the center for a more artistic touch.
In terms of design, the mini 99™ features a premium look and feel with a leather-like matte texture and classic design elements. FUJIFILM has also prioritized operability, incorporating analog usability features such as a lens ring for adjusting power and focal length, and a side dial for changing light and brightness.
The camera offers diverse shooting modes to cater to various photography scenarios, including Landscape, Macro, and Indoor modes, as well as Sports mode for capturing fast-moving subjects. Users can also experiment with creative modes like Double Exposure and Bulb mode for unique photographic effects.
For added convenience, the mini 99™ utilizes a removable rechargeable battery with USB Type-C charging, allowing users to take approximately 100 frames per charge.
To complement the launch of the mini 99™, FUJIFILM is releasing the mini-format film ‘Photo Slide’, inspired by traditional photo slides, to showcase the camera’s print expressions.
In addition to the camera launch, FUJIFILM has upgraded its instax UP! app, enabling users to scan and save instax prints digitally with added features such as an Album function for organizing themed collections of instax images.
As part of a limited-edition collaboration, FUJIFILM has partnered with atmos KL to create exclusive T-shirts celebrating the success of the ‘FUJIFILM X100VI’ camera. This collaboration merges innovative camera technology with contemporary street style, showcasing the iconic film simulations of the X100VI.
