Mobily and Tencent Cloud have joined forces to launch the ‘Go Saudi’ program, aimed at revolutionizing Saudi Arabia’s digital landscape as it aims to become a global business and entertainment hub. This collaboration signifies a strategic move to support the enterprise business sector digitally and contribute to the Kingdom’s vision of economic transformation outlined in Vision 2030.
The partnership between Mobily and Tencent Cloud brings forth a newly revolutionized enterprise cloud platform, powered by Tencent Cloud Enterprise (TCE), offering integrated IT services such as Computing, Database, Network, Storage, Security, and more. This platform will enable Mobily to diversify its enterprise business solutions and leverage new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, Big Data, and Immersive Convergence to capture new opportunities in the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sector.
The ‘Go Saudi’ program aims to create an all-encompassing digital ecosystem by providing enterprise-grade private cloud platforms prioritizing user privacy and data security. This platform will support Mobily in offering next-gen media and AI services, enhancing its portfolio of enterprise clientele. Additionally, Mobily will explore Tencent Cloud Mini Program Platform (TCMPP) capabilities to offer integrated daily live services connecting subscribers and Internet users with enterprises and business communities.
Eng. Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Badran, Mobily’s CEO, emphasized that the collaboration with Tencent Cloud will not only scale Mobily’s enterprise business but also elevate Saudi Arabia’s profile as the preferred hub for global businesses in the region. Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President and CEO of Tencent Cloud and Smart Industries Group (CSIG), highlighted the powerful capabilities the revamped enterprise cloud platform will provide to grow Mobily’s enterprise business across various sectors.
Tong also expressed Tencent Cloud’s confidence in supporting Saudi Arabia’s aspirations to become a preferred launchpad for global enterprises in the region. He emphasized Tencent Cloud’s commitment to fostering an exchange of knowledge and innovation through partnerships with local entities like Mobily.
The collaboration between Mobily and Tencent Cloud aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which aims for economic diversification and digital transformation. As part of this vision, the Kingdom targets a GDP growth of 5.7% and aims to position itself among the top 10 economies globally.
