Design and Aesthetics

Now from the front, the HONOR Magic6 Pro does look similar to it’s predecessor, the Magic5 Pro, with it’s dual curve large display measured at 6.8 inch which is definitely big, but provides more view and better viewing angle. On our first sight, it is indeed an OLED display with a fast refresh rate. Going over to the back of the phone, it gets an overhaul with the redesigned of the island of camera, taking the inspiration of the vast outer space, HONOR calls it the Cosmic Dome which represents our universe ready to take on the future adventures that awaits for the user.

Continuing on the back, it comes in two color, Epi Green (which is the one we received) and Black. The Epi Green represents the greenery of the earth with vegan leather texture that combined smoothness and the luxury looks that is captivating to the eyes of the public. This is followed by the triple camera triangular style placement along with chrome metallic finishing, and the same applied to the frame of the phone as well.

Performance and Hardware

This is no surprised that the HONOR Magic6 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3, the latest high performance flagship processor from Qualcomm that brings in fast processing with Ray Tracing capabilities. This bring a notch further with at least 12GB of RAM inside and larger default size of internal storage, giving it the flexibility of switching and running your favorite applications in a swift, and really quick too.

The camera has bumped up too with a main 108MP lens along with the upgraded Falcon sensing camera system which allows better, accurate picture capture even when the subject is moving, one of the many great solution when capturing children, pets, any moving subjects with clarity and high resolution.

Our First Impression

Since this is just the first look and our initial thoughts, the HONOR Magic6 Pro is a phone that is again taking some of the performance up, combining the new MagicOS 8.0 that carry some of the cross device connectivity and with the new SOC and camera, our first week of using it is smooth and so far a breeze towards our following weeks to come on concluding our first full review of this phone.
