The Supersonic Nural™ incorporates a time of flight sensor that detects the user’s head and adjusts heat accordingly, reducing the risk of heat damage to both the scalp and hair. Dyson’s relentless pursuit of innovation and understanding of hair science led to the development of sophisticated hair laboratories worldwide.
Key Features of the Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer:
- Scalp Protect Mode: Utilizing a network of Nural™ sensors, the hair dryer automatically reduces heat as it approaches the scalp, maintaining optimal scalp comfort and drying speed. A time of flight sensor measures the distance between the machine and the hair, ensuring precise heat control.
- Attachment Learning: The hair dryer learns the user’s styling preferences, memorizing their preferred heat and airflow settings for each attachment. This simplifies styling routines, as the hair dryer automatically applies the user’s preferred settings each time.
- Pause Detect: Equipped with a motion-sensing accelerometer, the hair dryer deactivates the heater, decreases airflow, and reduces noise when the user pauses between styling passes, enhancing ease of use.
