Xiaomi has officially launched its Redmi Note 13 Series in Malaysia, introducing four models: Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 5G, and Redmi Note 13. The release date is set for January 20, and these smartphones aim to narrow the gap between mid-range and flagship devices, providing durability, superior user experiences, and impressive camera capabilities at affordable price points.
Keying in on photography, the Redmi Note 13 Series emphasizes an upgraded camera system. The Pro models, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, showcase an impressive 200MP camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), delivering photography experiences akin to flagship devices. The base models, Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 13, are equipped with a 108MP main camera, ensuring excellent image quality.
The series places a strong focus on display quality, with Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G featuring a 1.5K AMOLED display with 1800 nits peak brightness. These devices also offer a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, enhancing the overall viewing experience. Additionally, eye protection features such as TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Reading mode are integrated for prolonged viewing comfort.
Durability is a standout feature, especially with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, which incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added resistance against drops and scratches. In addition to the Redmi Note 13 Series, Xiaomi introduced three wearables: Redmi Watch 4, Redmi Buds 5 Pro, and Redmi Buds 5. The Redmi Watch 4 features a large 1.97″ AMOLED display, while the Redmi Buds 5 Pro and Redmi Buds 5 offer advanced features such as LDAC support and active noise cancellation.
