ID-Cooling is one of the AIO and cooling manufacturers for major PC components, including companion fans for cases and processors, most of their products are offered in both RGB and non-RGB variants, which in other words, basically cater for all.

ID-Cooling is kind to send in their newest single fan CPU cooler, the FROZN A410 CPU COOLER for us to have a quick test and our thoughts on this single fan large heatsink cooler, and to us, it’s a big, yet effective looking cooler.

Design & Features

The ID-COOLING FROZN A410 is a single tower cooler with consist of 4 heat pipes that looks just slightly taller measuring at 120×73×152mm. By default it comes with a 12CM black color fan however you can install an additional compatible fan to increase the dissipation capability since an additional pair of clip is included in the box.

While the heatpipe is made of copper for cooling efficiency this is further supported by the remaining tower block of aluminum fins that the surrounding it that is effective in taking all the heat out along that supports up to 220W TDP processors that is compatible with both Intel and AMD processor ranging from socket LGA 1700,1200 AM4 and AM5 platforms. Of course the universal mounting kits were included for installation and it is pretty easy to identify since it is marked and color coded. An ID-COOLING FROST X25 thermal paste is also included in box so you dont need to buy any additional thermal paste, which is widely compatible with most processor used today as well.

The ID-COOLING FROZN A410 also comes with a low noise level FDB 120MM fan that maxes out to 2000RPM on maximum loads with 7 fin blades for maximizing airflow while running whisper quiet at around 29dB. The supplied fan is also a 4 pin type that is widely compatible with modern motherboards and processor with accurate sensors detected by the UEFI or any third party software within your Operating System such as AIDA64 or HWINFO 64.

Installation and Setup

For the test, we choose to use the latest AMD AM5 platform with the included ID-Cooling in box kits and the thermal paste for the setup, all of the screws are used in it as well to ensure compatibility with the overall system installed during the benchmarks, the rest of the hardware used is listed below.

Benchmarks

Ambient Temp : 23 Celsius
Surface Temp Recorded on Heatsink : 34 Celsius

App/GameMax Temp Recorded
Geekbench 683.4 Celsius
Cinebench R23 (multi core)86 Celsius
Cyberpunk 2077 (high settings)77.3 Celsius
Returnal (High Settings)78.3 Celsius

OK here comes a very simple benchmarks on the applications tested under single run, which proofs that the cooler actually can sustain even under load without issues, and since we are testing this with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, anything around the Intel Core i7 14th generation or lower will have no problem with this cooling solution.

Verdict & Conclusion

Rating

The ID-COOLING FROZN A410 is an inexpensive solution for your CPU cooling needs, I mean for RM119, that is really a steal for those who wanted something that just works without compatibility issues, and even if you are moving on, upgraded to another platform, you are still able to use it without much fuss, as long you are still keeping all the kits in the box, and all good to go with adequate air flowing through with all black design and last longer before the throttle come towards the processor. With this I can easily recommend this cooler should you want something that lasts you long as a stepping stone before you decide on to buy an AIO or better.

It is now available via all Sun Cycle Dealers nationwide and as mention, it is retailed at RM119
