Kingston stated today that it has been named the world’s top third-party DRAM module provider, according to the most recent sales rankings from research company TrendForce. Kingston maintains its lead with an estimated 78.12% market share on $13.5 billion (USD) in revenue. According to TrendForce, DRAM module sales in 2022 would be down 4.6% year on year. Kingston’s revenue fell somewhat, but the company remained the global leader for the 20th year in a row.
According to the survey, the top five memory module manufacturers will account for 90% of total sales in 2022, with Kingston maintaining its market share of 78.12%. Consumer purchasing tendencies for electronic devices were impacted by rising inflation, but Kingston’s strong brand size, along with its extensive product supply chain, restricted the company’s fall, putting it firmly at the top of market share rankings.
Its award-winning Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 and Renegade DDR5 memory modules have been updated with the addition of white heat spreaders, allowing customers to select the color that best suits their own style. In an era when most systems are precisely constructed, Kingston provides modules to suit both classic all-black systems and the rapidly expanding all-white PC.
“The 2022 findings from TrendForce reflect the company’s ongoing expansion and adaptability in the face of yet another demanding business year.” said Kingston. “This milestone not only reaffirms Kingston’s dominant presence in the market but also underscores the company’s resilience and significance within the industry, as we now proudly maintain our top position for the 20th consecutive year.”
