Samsung announced the launching of its latest T-series range, the Portable Solid State Drive (SSD) T9. The T9 is designed to keep data safe while on the go, with quick transfer speeds and substantial capacity, as well as the dependability and simplicity that consumers want.

The T9 has a maximum sequential read/write speed of 2,000 megabytes per second (MB/s) via the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface. This variant’s speeds are roughly two times quicker than the previous model T7, allowing customers to transmit a 4-gigabyte (GB) Full HD film in less than two seconds.
The T9 is available in three distinct capacity choices to accommodate the demands of any creative. With 1-terabyte (TB), 2-terabyte (TB), and 4-terabyte (TB) capacities, the T9 allows for speedy and frequent transfers while storing significant amounts of data. Its diminutive size, similar to that of a credit card, enables creators to carry their inspiration wherever they go with the fewest restrictions on their creative process.

The T9 offers not only functional gains, but also distinct design advantages based on the ‘rugged’ design philosophy of the T7 Shield. The curving diagonal lines and reverse carbon patterns on the surface of T9 give the rubber a fabric-like feel to the user, similar to a sumptuous wallet.

The Portable SSD T9’s strong design is meant to keep data secure with the reliability that customers require and allows them to pursue their most ambitious projects. It is resistant to drops up to three meters high and is assured with a five-year limited warranty.

Manage T9 With Samsung Magician Software 8.0
Users benefit from features such as performance benchmarking, security functions, firmware upgrades, and real-time health status checks with the Samsung Magician program. Firmware updates are an essential component for memory devices, and Magician software is prepared to address any field difficulties that may arise. All Samsung software, such as data migration, PSSD software, and card authentication tool, will be incorporated into Magician software with the new 8.0 version, which will be published in September 2023, and the OS support range will be enlarged for Windows, Mac, and Android users’ convenience.
Seamless Compatibility
With proven experience in Portable SSD compatibility, Samsung has designed the T9 to meet the USB Type-C power spec and to support the seamless workflow of professional creators. This has enhanced compatibility across operating systems such as Windows, macOS, smartphones and tablets, gaming consoles and professional high-resolution cameras. The T9 also comes with USB Type C-to-C and USB Type C-to-A cables.
