Today, Intel announced that Intel® Arc A580 desktop graphics are now available from partners worldwide. The new device sits in the heart of Intel’s Arc discrete graphics product stack for gamers and producers, offering superior gaming performance at 1080p high settings on popular current games, high frame rates on esports titles, and a full set of media features.

The Intel Arc A580 graphics constitute a compelling new category offering, bringing the contemporary capabilities of the Arc GPU family to mainstream gamers and producers at a low price. Intel XeSS and ray tracing are powerful gaming capabilities that enhance the gaming experience by providing greater performance at higher resolutions and more realistic images.

Intel Arc A580-based add-in cards have 512 gigabytes per second memory bandwidth, which is more than double the memory bandwidth of the nearest competitors. They also offer extensive media support, including two hardware-accelerated AV1 decode and encode engines, allowing designers to choose their preferred codec.

Built-in Intel® Xe Matrix Extensions (Intel XMX) AI engines not only power Intel XeSS, an AI-based upscaling solution, but also excel in other AI workloads, such as generative ones that use models like Stable Diffusion.

Intel Arc A580-based add-in cards are available from ASRock, GUNNIR and Sparkle,  from $179.
