ASUS Malaysia today launched the ASUS Chromebook CR11 Flip, an all-new, education-focused ChromeOS laptop that flips to become an 11.6-inch multitouch tablet.
The new ASUS Chromebook CR11 Flip is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday life at home, outside, and in the classroom, with clever protective features such as an all-around rubber bumper, a spill-resistant keyboard, and an optional Corning Gorilla Glass display.
There’s enough battery life to get through a full day of study and more, as well as an easy-to-service modular design and zero-touch enrollment. Aside from that, the convertible ASUS Chromebook CR11 Flip has an optional garaged pen, a world-facing camera for unique learning opportunities and maximum flexibility, and a physical webcam shutter for fast privacy.
The ASUS Chromebook CR11 Flip has a rubber safety grip on the bottom that not only offers a robust support for the laptop, but also makes it simpler to grab when carrying, decreasing the chance of fumbles and slides.
The keyboard is also engineered to withstand tampering, with a small space between the keycap edges and the keyboard shell to prevent the keys from being pried out. The laptops even have a durable, micro-dimpled coating that resists fingerprints, keeping them cleaner for longer.
The ASUS Chromebook CR11 Flip has been tested to US military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability requirements, and can resist drops of up to 120 cm. The display hinge and I/O ports have also been rigorously tested to withstand the shocks and strains of daily use.
