Xiaomi unveils the Xiaomi 13T Series. Price starts from RM1799

Xiaomi has launched its new Xiaomi 13T Series smartphones. To produce true Leica photography, the phones were co-engineered with Leica and incorporate classic Leica features, boast enhanced speed optimisation, a long battery life, and a crystal-clear display.

The Xiaomi 13T Series provides professional-caliber photography for a new generation of smartphone users who are enthusiastic about creativity. The Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi 13T both include a triple camera configuration with Summicron lenses co-engineered with Leica. This features a 50MP wide angle camera with a 24mm equivalent focal length and a 7P aspherical lens designed to capture more light and facilitate high dynamic range shooting, as well as a 50MP telephoto lens with a 50mm equivalent focal length. A 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 15mm equivalent focal length is great for creating panoramic photographs and capturing breathtaking scenery.

Six Leica filters, including the newest Leica Sepia and Leica Blue derived from LeicaM-Typ240 Film Mode, indicate renowned homages to Leica images. Users of the two devices are eligible to a 6-month trial of 100GB Google One cloud storage and 3 months of YouTube Premium, which includes ad-free access to YouTube and the YouTube Music app.

Both the Xiaomi 13T Pro and the Xiaomi 13T offer enhanced power efficiency and battery life, allowing you to use your phone for extended periods of time without fear of running out of juice.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro is powered by a fast MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor capable of 3.35GHz. It also has an Arm Immortalis-G715 GPU, which enhances image processing for smoother, more efficient gameplay.

Xiaomi 13T is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor, which is designed for power efficiency and is manufactured on the newest TSMC 4nm technology. To keep it cold, it incorporates a 5000mm2 VC stainless steel soaking plate.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro features 120W HyperCharge, which allows the phone to be completely charged in just 19 minutes. Both the 13T Pro and the 13T charge rapidly, with the 13T Pro reaching 36% charge in 5 minutes and the 13T getting 21% charge in 5 minutes.

Xiaomi has incorporated a variety of safety mechanisms to guarantee that the 13T Series’ huge 5000mAh battery is capable of being used safely. ISP (Internal Shortage Precaution), SOA (Safety Operating Area), and DTPT (Dynamic Turbo Power Technology) are among these characteristics.

Price and availability

Pre-orders for the Xiaomi 13T Series will begin on 27 September. The Xiaomi 13T Pro will be available in three storage variants: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The starting price would be RM2,499. The Xiaomi 13T will be available in two storage variants: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. The starting price would be RM1,799. The Xiaomi 13T Pro (12GB+256GB) and Xiaomi 13T (8GB+256GB) will be sold only on Lazada and Shopee from official Xiaomi retailers.

Customers who pre-order any Xiaomi 13T Pro or Xiaomi 13T model between 27 September and 6 October, while stocks last, will receive exclusive deals. Every Xiaomi 13T Series phone comes with a premium package that includes a free screen replacement (within six months of purchase), 100GB of Google One cloud storage for six months, and a 1+1 year extended warranty.
