Samsung Malaysia Electronics has introduced the Odyssey OLED G9 game display (G95SC model), which has been upgraded with next-generation AI upscaling technology. Building on the popularity of last year’s Odyssey OLED G8 (G85SB), the new monitor enters the range, ushering in a new age of OLED gaming.
The Odyssey OLED G9 is the first OLED monitor to provide Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5,120 x 1,440) resolution with a 32:9 ratio, measuring 49 inches in size and with an 1800R curvature. The huge and wide screen ratio allows viewers to immerse themselves in super-ultrawide panoramas, comparable to two QHD panels side by side. At the same time, its 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) reaction time and 240Hz refresh rate provide gamers an advantage.
The integration of the Neo Quantum Processor Pro distinguishes the Odyssey OLED G9 from other OLED gaming displays. Using a deep learning system, it intelligently analyzes photos and automatically upscales to improve brightness while increasing contrast.
