TikTok, a prominent destination for short-form mobile video, is launching #FoodFestOnTikTok, a campaign aimed at encouraging local food and beverage (F&B) company growth while also giving artists a place to exhibit their talent.
The campaign, which will run from June 8 to July 9, 2023, asks users to embark on a savory trip by sharing their culinary experiences, recommendations, and reviews on TikTok with the hashtag #FoodFestOnTikTok. This effort consists of a hashtag challenge in which people may engage, accomplish “Foodie” tasks like making their own food films, and earn points during the campaign. Users may gain exclusive promotional tickets or vouchers based on their point achievements, and the top 10 creators with the most points can win a special TikTok profile badge.
TikTok Malaysia is happy to work with the Penang Tourism Board for the second time in connection with the Penang International Food Festival, which will harness TikTok’s dynamic platform to increase the festival’s visibility. Furthermore, the site is cooperating with local F&B businesses such as myBurgerLab, Soi 55 Thai Kitchen, Sugar and I, and others for the campaign, in which partnered restaurants will provide unique deals to users who submit food videos and identify the restaurants’ locations.
TikTok Malaysia will also have a trending restaurant scoreboard on the site for every F&B around the country, where the most tagged places will be highlighted, encouraging artists to review and check in at various restaurants.
