OPPO unveiled its newest achievement in the XR industry, the OPPO MR Glass Developer Edition, at the Augmented World Expo (AWE) 2023 in California. This cutting-edge mixed reality (MR) gadget is outfitted with cutting-edge technology on the inside and exterior, providing an excellent setting for advanced developers to build and showcase unique MR experiences.
OPPO sees a spike in the use of XR technology in the near future, with MR being one of the most promising modalities. The OPPO MR Glass will be made available in China as an official Snapdragon Spaces development kit to help draw more developers to the area and push the frontiers of XR technology.

OPPO MR Glass is powered by the Snapdragon® XR2+ platform and has OPPO’s unique SUPERVOOC rapid charging and heart rate sensing functions, which enable a number of new applications.
The OPPO MR Glass is made of skin-friendly material and comes with Binocular VPT (Video Pass Trough) technology, twin front RGB cameras, pancake lenses, and a 120Hz high refresh rate.
OPPO has been working on the deployment of sophisticated XR technology-related concept goods that allow developers to collaborate on innovation for several years. Since the release of OPPO’s first AR concept product, OPPO AR Glass, in 2019, OPPO has released three smart glasses to the public, including OPPO AR Glass 2021, OPPO Air Glass, and OPPO Air Glass 2, exploring more possibilities in the areas of algorithms, optical solutions, interactions, and ecosystem. OPPO Air Glass earned silver in the AR category of the Edison Product Awards in 2023, adding to international recognition for OPPO’s prowess in XR. In the second half of 2023, OPPO MR Glass will be available in China as a Snapdragon Spaces development kit, supplied by EnlightXR. This will give best-in-class hardware to developers while also helping to extend the Snapdragon Spaces content ecosystem in China.
