ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) is pleased to announce the release of the ROG Ally, a new Windows 11 gaming handheld with incredible capability. The ROG Ally is a true next-generation handheld, capable of running even modern AAA titles quicker and smoother than any other handheld on the market. Because it runs Windows 11, it can play any game from any platform and comes with three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate right now. AMD’s latest Ryzen Z1 Series CPU powers the Ally. The Ryzen Z1 Extreme CPU, which features 8 cores, 16 threads, and up to 8.6 teraflops of graphics processing capability, is based on the “Zen 4” architecture and AMD RDNA 3 architecture-based graphics. AMD Ryzen Z1 with 6 cores and 12 processing threads will be released later in 2023, and both versions will offer AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution and AMD Radeon Super Resolution upscaling technologies for exceptional performance and breathtaking graphics in demanding AAA and independent titles.

The ROG Zero Gravity thermal system, which combines a dual-fan system with ultrathin heatsink fins and high-friction heat pipes to keep the Ally cool in any angle, makes this feasible. To increase storage capacity, the Ally has 16 GB of high-speed LPDDR5 6400 MHz memory, 512 GB of PCIe® Gen 4 storage, and a UHS-II microSD card slot. WiFi 6E compatibility guarantees that the Ally maintains a stable connection even on busy networks, whether players are playing a multiplayer match locally or streaming a game through Xbox Cloud Gaming or AMD Link.
Flagship gaming performance needs a display to match, and the Ally delivers. With a 120 Hz FHD (1080p) touchscreen and AMD FreeSync™ Premium technology, gamers will experience superior motion clarity in fast-paced games with no tearing or stuttering.
