The Ryzen Z1 Series includes two high-performance processors, the Ryzen Z1 and Ryzen Z1 Extreme, both of which offer industry-leading gaming experiences and unrivalled battery life, as well as AMD RDNA 3 architecture-based graphics. AMD is teaming up with Asus to release the first Ryzen Z1 Series device, the Asus ROG Ally, a premium portable PC console powered by a Ryzen Z1 Extreme CPU.
“At AMD, we’re continually advancing the next generation of gaming experiences, from consoles to desktops to on-the-go handheld devices,” said Jason Banta, corporate vice president and general manager, Client OEM at AMD. “Ryzen Z1 processors deliver gamers an elite gaming experience and extreme portability in exciting gaming form factors.”
All-New AMD Ryzen™ Z1 and Ryzen™ Z1 Extreme Processors
The Ryzen Z1 Series CPUs offer spectacular graphics and, thanks to the efficiency of “Zen 4” architecture, great battery life for a completely portable, high-performance gaming experience. Gamers will be able to play graphically heavy current games smoothly thanks to AMD RDNA 3 architecture-based graphics embedded right in. With AMD Software: Adrenalin EditionTM, users can improve their game play by utilising features such as AMD Radeon Super Resolution, Radeon Chill, Radeon Image Sharpening, AMD Link, and others. These enhancements can improve performance by increasing frame rates and responsiveness, as well as extending battery life.
Every AMD Ryzen Z1 Series processor supports USB4 for quick and easy connectivity to the most recent external storage and display devices, as well as the most recent LPDDR5 and LPDDR5X memory standards, delivering fast performance and low latency for more responsive gaming.
