ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled the second project in its ongoing partnership with ACRONYM®, a top technical apparel business, to develop the ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 — a powerful tablet that combines the worlds of fashion, art, technology, Web3, and gaming.
It will be available for purchase globally beginning April 3, 2023, has pro-level specifications, including an Intel® CoreTM i9-13900H CPU and an NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. A tablet-sized chassis houses that massive capacity, encouraging mobility and real-world use. The gorgeously detailed, custom-machined aluminium provides rigidity. An clever incorporated carry system employs a flexible strap that enables the device to function as its own transit system and in multiple modes. Rubber holds are inset to provide grip in all directions, and the edges are strengthened to keep the machine secure from unintentional impacts or crashes.

Ultra-versatile
The ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 is part of the ROG 2023 Flow line, which seeks to provide ultra-versatile gaming with ultra-thin devices that can adjust to any situation. The Flow Z13 provided the ideal framework for ACRONYM and ROG to extend this flexibility to other applications that demand professional-grade processing and graphics in a multi-functional hand-held device. The integrated carry system and stabilised grips make it easy to use on the go, and the integrated kickstand quickly converts the RMT02 into a conventional laptop form factor suitable for gameplay, content production, or watching. The hinge can also be used in portrait mode, making it the only Z13 that can be used hands-free from both orientations.
Breathtaking performance
The Intel Core i9-13900H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU power the ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02. The gadget also includes a MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, as well as a total heating capability of 80 W. ROG Intelligent Cooling has incorporated a vapour chamber with 50% mainboard covering here. Ambient noise is kept to a minimum thanks to liquid-metal and arc-flow blowers. The gadget supports XG Mobile and has a 16:10 aspect ratio ROG Nebula monitor. Redefining portability and interaction
ACRONYM radicalised the compact portability of the Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 by starting with the ROG Flow Z13 basis and adding useful elements and their clothing design philosophy. The gadget seamlessly moves between a high-end tablet, a powerful mobile PC for gameplay, and an on-the-go artistic workstation. The ACRONYM design philosophy promotes ‘open agency,’ giving the user numerous methods to interact with and use the product — a strategy that is evident throughout the RMT02. Design components are influenced by how the device feels in the user’s palm and how they promote use in novel situations.
The partnership stretched the boundaries of what is possible in production, motivated by the goal to deliver real innovation. The machined aluminum, embedded-rubber-grip elements, protective corners, strap system, and precision etchings throughout support the idea that this is an exact tool that was also made with great technological care. The robust aluminium frame, which is designed to be its own carrying case, goes through an intensive machining process that results in a product that is both gorgeously polished and raw, with visible CNC-path lines. A closer look at the device shows eye-catching details such as laser-etched images and customised fonts and iconography.
