The HONOR Magic Moments Awards 2023 are the third version of the company’s annual global mobile photography competition. HONOR Device Co., Ltd. Chief Marketing Officer Ray Guo stated, “HONOR is committed to empowering users with the best smartphone cameras and enabling them to effortlessly capture works of art.”
The awards will accept submissions from both aspiring photographers and ordinary users, with the entry period spanning from April 6th through August 6th, 2023. HONOR, as a major global technology brand, is devoted to meeting the high standards of camera advances, with the recently announced HONOR Magic5 Pro ranking first on the DXOMARK Camera leaderboard and being the first smartphone to achieve such a feat with a score of 152. The revolutionary Millisecond Falcon snap technology speeds up the whole image process, allowing users to snap stunning photographs, especially those fleeting moments.
Prizes Worth up to USD 110,000 up for grabs!
The HONOR Magic Moments Awards has been a widely anticipated global mobile photography competition within the digital community for the past two years, with over 500,000 entries from more than 50 countries. The prize pool has been expanded to USD 110,000 this year, with 75 potential winners up from 67.
Malaysian photographers are encouraged to enter the national competition, themed #MagicMomentsofMalaysia, in order to capture ephemeral moments with their smartphone cameras. We want to encourage smartphone photographers to use the advancements in smartphone camera technology to capture true human tales and emotions across a variety of topics.
The National Photographer of the Year will get a cash reward of RM 10,000, while the two Master of Photography Award winners will each receive a cash prize of RM 5,000. Furthermore, three winners of the Prestigious Photographer Award and three winners of the Excellence Award will receive the HONOR Magic5 Pro, while ten Honorable Photographer Award winners will receive the newest HONOR N Series smartphones.

Malaysian participants are eligible for both global and national prizes and awards.
#MagicMomentsofMalaysia Mobile Photography Tour
HONOR Malaysia is embarking on a statewide photography trip in cooperation with our Official Vehicle Partner, Cycle & Carriage, to capture the magnificent #MagicMomentsofMalaysia while zipping about in Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
