OPPO displayed a variety of its newest innovative technologies at Mobile World Congress 2023 (MWC2023) on 28 February. During the event, OPPO is not only showing a selection of flagship devices including the pocketable OPPO Find N2 Flip, but also introduces a number of industry-leading innovations based on its four Smart Initiatives – smart entertainment, smart productivity, smart health, and smart learning, such as OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400, OPPO Zero-Power Tag, MariSilicon Y Bluetooth audio SoC, OHealth H1 family health monitor, OPPO Air Glass 2 and more. OPPO is reinforcing its place as a future-focused business that aims to open new possibilities for smart living by providing enhanced, connected experiences through these virtuous inventions.
“As the world’s fourth largest mobile phone brand, OPPO has showcased a series of innovations at MWC23, from folding flagship phones to the latest technology behind the Internet of Experience. By bringing new technology breakthroughs to market, we are unlocking new possibilities for smart living to better serve our users worldwide,” said Billy Zhang, President of Overseas Sales and Service, OPPO.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip will revolutionise the vertical folding experience, making flips the user’s first option.
The Find N2 Flip’s cover screen, measuring 3.26 inches, is the biggest of any flip phone presently available, making everything better and simpler to do. Its 50MP primary camera, MariSilicon X NPU, and Hasselblad imaging system work together to provide an expert photography experience. The Find N2 Flip features the New Generation Flexion Hinge, which allows the screen to be adjusted at any inclination between 45 and 110 degrees. The crease of the Find N2 Flip stays inconspicuous even after prolonged use thanks to the new Flexion Hinge. The Find N2 Flip also has a large 4,300mAh battery and 44W SUPERVOOC rapid charging, making it the first flip that can easily last a full day of normal use.
Both the OPPO Find N2 Flip and Find N2 have been named Official Devices of the UEFA Champions League. Michael Owen and Luis Garcia, both UEFA Champions League Ambassadors and football players, join OPPO on the first day of MWC, becoming the first worldwide consumers to experience the incredible OPPO Find N2 Flip.
In addition to OPPO Find N2 Flip, guests to the OPPO exhibit can also experience the newest OPPO flagship phones such as OPPO Find N2, and IoT devices including OPPO Enco X2, OPPO Watch 3 Pro, OPPO Pad, and OPPO 45W Liquid Cooler.
OPPO highlights “Virtuous Innovation” achievements in Smart Living Projects.
OPPO has extended its communication technology product lines in the “smart productivity” category. The OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 is OPPO’s first Wi-Fi router device, supporting the Wi-Fi 6 AX5400 standard and capable of delivering a 2.4GHz+5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi signal at the same time. It is built on the Qualcomm® Immersive Home 216 Platform. Wi-Fi with broader coverage, improved reliability, and quicker rates is possible thanks to OPPO’s high-gain antennas, self-developed anti-interference algorithm, and network directional speed-up technology. The graceful cylinder design with concealed antennas fits perfectly within a contemporary, minimalist home, while the unique interior structure aids in heat dispersal, guaranteeing always-on connectivity that reaches every part of the house.
OPPO is also highlighting its extensive achievements across other Smart Initiatives, including OPPO’s first self-developed flagship Bluetooth audio SoC, MariSilicon Y, the new-generation, ultra-light AR glasses, OPPO Air Glass 2, OPPO’s first family health monitor concept device OHealth H1, and OPPO’s first end-to-end power management chip SUPERVOOC S, among others.
OPPO has pledged to reaching carbon neutrality across its worldwide activities by 2050
As part of its business goal of “Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World,” OPPO has taken steps to incorporate sustainability into its long-term growth strategy. OPPO succeeded to decrease greenhouse gas pollution from its activities by 6,000 tonnes per year by the end of 2022. Beginning with the European market in 2023, OPPO will eliminate nearly all plastics from the exterior packaging of its mobile phone goods and guarantee that all packaging materials are 100% biodegradable.
On the opening day of MWC2023, OPPO has also published its first Climate Action Report, the OPPO Climate Action Report: Climate Pledges and Low Carbon Development Strategy, co-developed with global consultancy, Deloitte. The report proposes OPPO’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality across its global operations by 2050, and outlines its future blueprint for low carbon development. With these plans, OPPO will transform its entire business into a low-carbon enterprise.
