At CES 2023, LG Electronics (LG) is displaying its commitment to providing a premium TV gaming experience that offers increased convenience through the addition of cloud gaming service Amazon Luna, the new webOS UI with a dedicated gaming hub, and buttery-smooth gameplay at 4K 60 FPS streaming via NVIDIA GeForce NOW on its most latest TVs.
With no downloads or additional hardware required, popular cloud gaming services like those offered by NVIDIA, Blacknut, Utomik, and now Luna and Boosteroid are now easily accessible through LG Game Card on webOS 2023. The award-winning OLED TVs from LG offer gamers the smoothest gameplay thanks to superior image quality, an incredibly quick response time of 0.1 milliseconds, and extremely low input lag. They also offer a more customised gaming experience with features like Game Optimizer and genre-specific picture settings.
GeForce NOW is already streaming on 2020 models, and it will start streaming in 4K on a few models later this year. LG TV owners will be among the first to stream impressively smooth, highly immersive 4K gameplay at 60 FPS, on the big screen with just a compatible controller, on 2021 and 2022 LG TVs running webOS 6.0 or above.
NVIDIA’s open cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, taps into the booming PC gaming ecosystem by broadcasting world-class NVIDIA GeForce RTX performance. Gamers can play their favourite PC titles, including many of the most popular free-to-play games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Destiny 2, with and against millions of other PC gamers, that they have previously purchased from popular digital retailers. Members of GeForce Now Ultimate will be able to stream at up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on compatible LG TVs, with ultra-low latency that rivals many local gaming experiences.
Amazon Luna, which is available through LG’s Game Card in the U. S., joins other cloud gaming services on the webOS Home Screen of LG’s latest TVs. A Luna subscription provides access to games for everyone, including AAA titles, retro-side scrollers, family games, and more, as well as titles such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Everspace, and Team Sonic Racing, while the Prime Gaming channel provides Amazon Prime subscribers with monthly access to a variety of exclusive and free-to-play titles.
LG’s ideal-for-gaming OLED TVs will be on display in the company’s booth (#15501, Las Vegas Convention Center) from 5 to 8 January 2023. Follow #LGCES2023 on social media to stay up to date on any LG CES news.
