AMD revealed a slew of new desktop and mobile computing solutions, providing new levels of performance to gamers, artists, professionals, and everyday people. AMD’s new Ryzen 7000X3D Series Desktop CPUs and 65W Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop processors significantly broaden the variety of alternatives for Socket AM5 consumers. AMD also unveiled a new collection of Ryzen 7000 Series Mobile CPUs, including the AMD Ryzen 7045HX Series Mobile processors, which give on average more than 50% higher performance across a wide range of applications, allowing gamers and artists to work on the move 1. AMD is also launching the Ryzen 7040 Series Mobile CPUs, which on select models have the first dedicated artificial intelligence hardware in an x86 processor.

Expanding the Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop Processor Lineup

These new Ryzen 7000X3D processors are the world’s fastest gaming CPUs. Performance that is up to 14% quicker than the previous generation. Starting in February 2023, AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs with 3D V-Cache technology will be available for Socket AM5.

AMD launched the new Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700, and Ryzen 5 7600 Series CPUs, which give great performance while expanding on the existing Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop processor family. The new Ryzen CPUs, which are built on the “Zen 4” architecture and have a 65W TDP, are geared for both efficiency and performance, and come with a bundled AMD Wraith cooler, extending options and entry points into the Socket AM5 ecosystem. With a water-cooled Ryzen 9 7900 CPU and one-click overclocking with Precision Improvement Overdrive, you may receive an immediate performance boost of up to 39%. The processors revealed today will be available beginning January 10.

Ryzen 7045HX Processors for Mobile

AMD launched the new AMD Ryzen 7045HX Series Mobile CPUs, which are powered by up to 16 strong “Zen 4” cores and 32 threads. These mobile CPUs, built on superior 5nm manufacturing technology and containing the most processing threads currently found on a mobile processor as well as sophisticated DDR5 memory compatibility, enabling users to enjoy new levels of mobile computing.

The new AMD Ryzen 7045HX Series Mobile CPUs outperform the 6900HX by up to 18% in single-threaded performance and up to 78% in multithreaded performance, delivering a tremendous jump in what’s possible for mobile gamers and artists.

AMD announced Ryzen AI, the first dedicated artificial intelligence hardware in an x86 CPU, available on select models, bringing AMD XDNA adaptable AI architecture to laptop computing and offering higher performance for real-time AI experiences. Ryzen AI processors beat the Apple M2 CPU by up to 20% while using up to 50% less energy8. This performance and efficiency result in richer, real-time user experiences in video collaboration, content creation, productivity, gaming, and security.

AMD Ryzen 7035 and 7030 Series Processors for Mobile

AMD Ryzen 7035 Series CPUs are built on 6nm manufacturing technology and include up to eight cores. They are meant to give high performance and exceptionally extended battery life. The Ryzen PRO 7030 Series Mobile processors are also equipped with AMD PRO technologies, which provide multilayered security and enterprise-class solutions for manageability.

Beginning in January 2023, systems with Ryzen 7035 Series CPUs will be offered from Acer, Asus, HP, and Lenovo.
