The release of ColorOS 13 was faster than ever before, according to an official announcement made by OPPO today. For selected flagship models in 2023, the company also expanded its ColorOS update strategy to guarantee four significant Android upgrades and five years of security fixes.
The latest Android-based operating system from OPPO is called ColorOS 13. ColorOS 13 has a number of amazing features including Smart AOD, Multi-Screen Connect, and Home Screen Management that offer intelligent, user-friendly experiences to people all around the world. It is designed for simplicity and comfort with its brand-new Aquamorphic Design.
ColorOS 13 has been delivered to 33 smartphone models worldwide since its launch on August 18th, 2022, making it the fastest and largest update in ColorOS history. Compared to ColorOS 12, over 50% more handset models were compatible with ColorOS 13 during the same four-month period following their official release (data from 8 1August to 18 December, 2022). (data from 11 October 2021, to 11 February 2022). ColorOS 13 has three times the number of people covered throughout its global rollout than ColorOS 12 did over the same time period.
In addition, OPPO unveiled a new ColorOS update policy. This includes a pledge to provide four major ColorOS upgrades with five years of security fixes for worldwide users starting in 2023 on selected flagship models.
