The Kingston NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD comes in a package that is really simple looking retail pack similar to its predecessor, the NV1 series. The drive comes in a dimensions measuring 22mm x 80mm x 2.2mm (2280) with weight measured at 7 grams. Such weight is perfectly suitable to be installed over any PC, Laptops or Consoles without hassle, although one should take note that the package does not come with heatsink, which gives flexibility for end users if they wish to get additional customised cooling solutions on their own. Since this is a PCIe 4.0 drive, you can install it over any PCIe 4.0 verified slots and Kingston rated it that it will up to 3,500MB/s read, 2,800MB/s write, which is not the fastest, but fast enough.

Above is the results we obtained from our test system, and all the results and performance is within expectation we are truly satisfied with it. During the test, it does run warm, but the most 50 degree Celsius only. While again this is not the fastest drive around the market, it does meet over minimum requirement of read and write for a compliant PCIe 4.0 SSD drive, and so on all daily purposes, it is real smooth, fast and snappy copying and reading files.
Verdict & Conclusion
The Kingston NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD is an answer to a fast, affordable drop in replacement, a new PC build or upgrade without spending too much over storage solution while one will still enjoy all the benefit it has catering modern connectivity standards with no hassles and no complication, just install, format and you are ready to go. While it is again aint the fastest, in the end it is still fast!
