HONOR Malaysia has officially confirmed the release of its much-anticipated HONOR X9a 5G for a 2023 launch on January 4, 2023 at 7 p.m. HONOR Malaysia has significantly built up anticipation for this release through several quality test films, with many people expecting the launch of the HONOR X9a 5G.
The HONOR X9a 5G, being the latest generation device of the X series, contains the flagship attributes that consumers can expect. This will be the first time a mid-range smartphone has a curved screen, which is usually reserved for flagship devices. This trend demonstrates that HONOR is offering premium-level technology with higher quality to more affordable customers.
Ultra Tough OLED Curved Display – Reliable Quality
According to previously published information, the HONOR X9a 5G’s Ultra Tough OLED Curved Display uses a 0.65mm Super Reinforced glass, which is tougher and more drop-resistant than the 0.55mm glass generally used in the market.
The toughness is demonstrated by the trials carried out in HONOR’s lab testing, which involve repeated 1-meter drops on marble and concrete floors, as well as multiple-angle rolling drops, with the micro-drop test being performed numerous ten thousand times. In addition to the aforementioned tests and 33 more rigorous tests, this makes the HONOR X9a 5G an ultra-tough OLED curved display quality smartphone, dismissing past fears about the curved screen’s possible breakability.
A high-quality OLED curved display comparable to flagship smartphones
More than only the high-quality curved screen, the HONOR X9a 5G curved screen provides a sense of luxury similar to flagships. While many in the same price range have remained with LCD panels, the HONOR X9a 5G has taken a step forward with OLED screens. Previously, only flagship models would include 1920Hz PWM dimming, but the HONOR X9a 5G now has that title. In typical HONOR form, it has also received TÜV Rheinland hardware-level reduced blue light certification, further protecting users’ eye health.
With all of the technology embedded in this already impressive smartphone, the HONOR X9a 5G becomes the first mobile phone in the X series to support the HONOR Multiscreen Collaboration feature, which connects the HONOR X9a to HONOR’s laptop for more efficient working, indicating that the X series is entering the era of all scenarios.
