As the year comes to an end (real soon), usually this is also the season where new hardware that’s to show themselves and giving all the performance it has, power and numbers in FPS that makes consumers the need to know and maybe purchase one as an upgrade.
We will quickly look at the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, one of the two offerings from AMD (as well as the AIB) and its part of AMD latest Radeon series of GPU that brings in the new RDNA 3 GPU architecture, which arrives to our lab for a performance benchmarks and testing along with our new test companion motherboards, processors, memory to pair with and to keep the fierce GPU competitions on par.
As a start, this card is competing along with Nvidia’s new RTX 4080 and 4090, which also puts the RX 7900 XT along the top tier level GPU that is capable of delivering insane framerates for almost all games with a slightly lower price tag, while AMD still brings in several new features under the RDNA3 GPU architecture, such as having 8K display while still enjoying up to 165Hz refresh rate, as well as game developers bringing in new updates to existing games to support FSR 2.2. We will list some of the key features of the new RX series down below under features in summary so you can have a look at it as well.

Verdict & thoughts
This is towards those who really wanted the newest from the Radeon lineup, yet latest featured, which posses all the raw rendering, gaming power that the card really has, in fact it is slightly cheaper than the competing brand that just launched not too long ago as well. Back to the performance numbers wise in gaming, you can easily game up to the reasonable high framerates above 75FPS even in 4K, provided pairing it with the Intel 11th generation i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 5000 series and above across all triple A titles. If you are using it for rendering, encoding/decoding, this will definitely crunch thru comfortably as well with the support of major codecs used widely. Highly recommended for those who really wanted to upgrade as well, if you are coming from the NVIDIA mid tier 30 series cards below or AMD’s Radeon 6000 series and older, just make sure to pair with a fairly powerful processor and its a good to go. From the pricing standpoint, you might want to add this in your list if you are on your way getting a flagship graphics card, since it is expected that from price to performance view, this is slightly viable and slightly affordable compared to the current flagship cards.
Pricing and Availability
