New MICROSOFT Surface Devices Now Available in Malaysia

• The Surface Pro 9 will be available in two new colours including Sapphire and Forest

Microsoft announced today that the new Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5 are now commonly accessible in Malaysia through business-authorised resellers and approved retailers.

Surface Pro 9

The Surface Pro 9 has a gorgeous, edge-to-edge 13″ PixelSense display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a variety of colours, including Sapphire, Forest, Platinum, and Graphite. It also has a recognisable built-in kickstand. An HD camera, Omnisonic speakers, directional microphones, and Microsoft’s own G6 chip—which advances inking with tactile signals—are all housed beneath the display. Digital ink on the screen will feel like pen on paper when used with the new Ink Focus feature in Microsoft OneNote or the new GoodNotes app for Windows 11.

Surface Pro 9 users can choose between a 12th Gen Intel® Core processor based on the Intel® Evo™ architecture with Thunderbolt™ 4 or a Microsoft SQ®3 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon with 5G connectivity. Users will have the same classic Surface Pro shape, exceptional performance, all-day battery life, and Secured-core capabilities in any scenario.

Surface Pro 9 starts at RM5,299 and is available for purchase today. It is made of high-quality aluminium chassis and offers customisation choices with its Signature Keyboard.

Surface Laptop 5

The Surface Laptop 5 is sleek and sophisticated, providing the craftsmanship, comfort, and features you need to jump in and produce your finest work. It has a day-long battery life and now supports Thunderbolt™ 4. The Surface Laptop 5 is nearly 50% more powerful than its predecessor thanks to the newest Intel® Evo™ platform.

The Surface Laptop 5’s unique 3:2 PixelSense display is available in 13.5″ and 15″ models, both with Dolby Vision IQ, to provide customers with the finest possible picture, bright colours, and crisp contrast in any lighting condition. The speakers are carefully tuned and include Dolby Atmos 3D spatial processing, which completely immerses users in their content. The front-facing HD camera and Studio Microphones capture true, even adjusting camera exposure in any light conditions.

The Surface Laptop 5, which starts at RM5,299 and is currently on sale, includes new features that let users experience fully immersive content while being productive on their terms. The device is available in two colours: platinum metal and black metal.

The Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5 are generally available from today, 29 November, via Surface for Business authorized resellers including Maxis; and authorized retailers such as All IT, Gloo by SNS Network, Harvey Norman, Lazada Flagship Store, PC Image, Senheng, Shopee Authorised Store, and TMT by Thundermatch.
