LG today announced the launch of its new LG UltraGear gaming monitors line, allowing gamers to Gear Up for the next-level gaming experience. Satisfying gamers’ needs with an entirely new design language, cutting-edge display technology, and a variety of gaming and connectivity features.
The LG UltraGear gaming monitors’ latest lineup commemorates the much-anticipated arrival of LG UltraGear’s first OLED gaming monitor – the 48GQ900 model – as well as the flagship 32GQ850 model, which features a QHD Nano IPS display and Advanced True Wide (ATW) Polarizer technology. The gaming monitors will provide a holistic immersive gaming experience with viewing displays built from the industry’s leading technological innovations.
“We are proud to introduce the first-ever OLED gaming monitor that applies cutting-edge technology and design in meeting the high standards of today’s consumers’ need and expectation for gaming display monitors,” said Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia.
Ultimate OLED Gaming Display
The self-emissive LG UltraGear 48GQ900 gaming monitor, a Red Dot and iF Design Award winner, features a 48-inch 4K display, 120Hz refresh rate, overclocked (O/C) up to 138Hz, 0.1millisecond (ms) response time, impeccable colour accuracy, and a borderless design.
Because of its superior colour reproduction and contrast, the new model is ideal for PC and console gaming. It has LG’s anti-glare low reflection (AGLR) coating, which reduces visual distractions and allows users to concentrate fully on the gameplay.
The 48GQ900 model also includes a remote control designed specifically for enhanced gaming convenience, as well as a stylish stand that provides optimal stability without invading users’ desk or table space.
Ultra-Large Nano IPS
Along with the new lineup, the 32GQ850 offers the next generation of visual performance and speed. The monitor is VESA® AdaptiveSync Display certified.
LG’s VESA AdaptiveSync Display-certified monitor features a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) Nano IPS panel with ATW Polarizer technology, which ensures seamless visuals and consistent colours from almost any vantage point. The 32GQ850 also has VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, covers 98 percent of DCI-P3, and has a three-sided borderless design that draws gamers deeper into the action of their favourite games.
The monitor also has an overclocked 240Hz (O/C 260Hz) refresh rate and a 1ms response time. Simply put, the performance speed is unrivalled.
Full HD Display for Gaming
With sharp, angular stands and a Hexagon shape, the LG UltraGear 27GQ50F and 24GQ50F models have an even sleeker gaming aesthetic. Because of its chic and sleek design with slim bezels on three sides, the monitor’s base can be adjusted to change the tilt of the monitor for increased comfort.
LG’s latest UltraGear gaming monitors, the 48GQ900 and 32GQ850 models, include a 4-pole headphone jack, allowing users to connect a gaming headset and chat while playing. The 2022 models also include DTS Headphone: X superior surround sound, which reproduces every sound in the game with stunning clarity.
