OPPO Theme Store Art+ Channel now features a new Aquamorphic Wallpaper created in collaboration with the estate of Op Art artist Julian Stanczak (1928-2017), with Stanczak’s work Blue Diffusion # 2. The wallpaper combines the ColorOS Aquamorphic Design’s iconic blue tones with Julian Stanczak’s mastery of color, providing users with visual enjoyment and a one-of-a-kind aesthetic experience.
Julian Stanczak, a master of color and one of the founders of the international Op Art movement, created paintings that elicit a visual, psychological, and emotional response from the viewer. The Aquamorphic Wallpaper in this collaboration works in tandem with the Aquamorphic concept in ColorOS 13. Stanczak’s love of color stems from a desire to translate nature’s drama and power into a universal impression, which is similar to the intention behind the Aquamorphic Design.
“Building dialogue through product and time is what makes a design good. It should be able to respond to people’s psychological needs in the moment”, as Xi Zeng, OPPO’s Director of Software Design said. “The wallpaper collaboration of Julian Stanczak and OPPO incorporates nature, art, and technology to create a digital experience that encourages self-reflection, inspiration, and vitality.”
ColorOS 13 includes other wallpaper options, such as Blossom Wallpaper, in addition to the Aquamorphic Wallpaper, to provide a visually appealing experience while focusing on users’ digital well-being. To better serve 500 million global users, the new operating system, which was released on August 18th, includes other smart features such as Multi-Screen Connect, a variety of updates on Always-On Display, Meeting Assistant, and a brand-new Aquamorphic Design.
