LG is expanding the gaming experience on its latest TVs by adding new cloud-gaming services to give users more options and a UI update that makes it easier to ‘get in the game.’ These latest enhancements demonstrate LG’s ongoing commitment to bringing gamer-centric content and capabilities to its industry-leading TVs.

Cloud-gaming platforms, which don’t require any PC, console, or game installations, make gaming more accessible than ever. Blacknut and Utomik Cloud, which will be available on LG TVs in September and November, respectively, deliver a plethora of titles spanning classic AAA games, indie favourites, story-driven adventures, sports, strategy, and more. The two apps, which both welcome new titles on a monthly basis, offer users the ability to select and instantly play any game from their extensive catalogues via monthly subscriptions.

Blacknut provides subscribers with over 500 PC and console games, the widest range of premium content for all members of the family, and up to five player profiles. The Blacknut catalogue not only has the most racing and sports games in the cloud gaming space, but also critically acclaimed hits like Metro Exodus, Overcooked, and a large collection of Disney games. Utomik Cloud has a curated and growing selection of 100+ games from its 1,300+ PC games library covering diverse genres, with indie favourites like Coffee Talk, My Time at Portia, and Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion among the platform’s many highlights.

The new cloud gaming apps will be available starting this month on LG TVs running webOS 6.0 and webOS 2022 via the LG Apps Store. Users will soon be able to find a variety of popular cloud gaming services on the convenient Gaming Shelf, which can be easily found on the new Home Screen, thanks to LG’s newly updated gaming UI. The Gaming Shelf already contains a selection of NVIDIA GeForce NOW titles. LG TV will receive future updates that will enable it to access games from Google Stadia and other gaming services via the Gaming Shelf.
