HONOR introduced its brand-new HONOR X40 at the HONOR Autumn New Product Launch in China, which features an OLED curved screen and an ultra-long battery life in a lightweight body. Meanwhile, HONOR Malaysia has confirmed that a higher-spec version of the HONOR X40 will be introduced in the future and will be released in Malaysia after being renamed.
The HONOR X40’s display is a 6.67-inch OLED curved screen with a 45° golden curvature that is comfortable to hold. The 1.07 billion colours and 120Hz refresh rate provide a great viewing experience. It not only supports TÜV Rheinland low-blue light certification at the hardware level, but it also includes flagship-level 1920Hz high-frequency PW dimming, which can reduce flicker damage in low-light environments.
HONOR is also hard at work on software and hardware to address curved screen users’ pain points such as mistouch and durability. When we accidentally touch the edge of the screen, the AI mistouch prevention algorithm prevents the screen from responding to this area. With a 0.65mm tempered glass screen cover that has stronger drop resistance, the HONOR X40 assures users of premium quality. It also passed 33 rigorous tests such as marble and simulated concrete drop tests, proving its quality.
The HONOR X6 will be released in Malaysia on October 7th
At the same time, HONOR Malaysia revealed the brand-new HONOR X6, which will be available on October 7. This entry-level smartphone comes with 128GB of storage, which is the largest in its class. Previously, HONOR released the HONOR X9, HONOR X8 and HONOR X7 series in Malaysia. The HONOR X6, as the latest member of the X series, will continue the series’ premium quality and budget-friendly gene, giving Malaysian consumers more choices of quality products.
