ASUS Announces Vivobook 15X OLED with AMD Ryzen 5000 Series, Starts from RM3,299

ASUS unveiled the new Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503, AMD) today, a feature-rich laptop with a brilliant OLED HDR display and a cinema-grade DCI-P3 gamut. Everything about the ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED has been improved, from its powerful AMD RyzenTM 7 mobile processor to its 180° lay-flat hinge, modern colours, and sleek geometric design.

These user-friendly, youthfully styled premium mainstream laptops are powered by an eight-core AMD RyzenTM 7 5800H processor and include a wide range of high-quality components and innovative class-leading features that make them suitable for any task.

The Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503) has a superb OLED NanoEdge display with 2.8K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 0.2 ms response time, cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, PANTONE® Validated colour accuracy, and 550 nits HDR peak brightness. The VESA DisplayHDRTM True Black 500 certification ensures the deepest possible blacks and a high contrast ratio for enhanced detail. Its display also has TÜV Rheinland low blue-light certification to ensure eye comfort during long viewing sessions.

This model stands out for its feature-rich specifications, which include a physical webcam shield for instant privacy, a full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard, and a fingerprint sensor in the touchpad. They also have ASUS Antibacterial Guard to keep harmful bacteria at bay.

The Vivobook 15X OLED’s all-new slim and lightweight design is clean and appealing, with Quiet Blue colour. The 180° lay-flat hinge facilitates sharing and collaboration. Connecting existing peripherals, displays, and projectors is a breeze with a full set of I/O ports. In Malaysia, the Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503) will cost RM 3,299 (Ryzen 5) and RM 3,699 (Ryzen 7). Starting on August 17, 2022, both variants will be available for purchase at ASUS official stores and retailers (mid August).
