LG Electronics (LG) unveiled its newest premium monitor, the LG DualUp Monitor Ergo, to meet the needs of Malaysian professionals and creatives. The new stacked dual monitor has a sleek and functional design, improved connectivity, and a superior user experience for both home and office workers, including creative professionals and programmers.

With peerless picture quality, powerful performance, customizability, and convenience, it’s no surprise that the LG DualUp Monitor Ergo won a CES 2022 Innovation Award. LG DualUp Monitor Ergo has a unique 16:18 aspect ratio, which is a completely new format in the monitor market. It combines two stacked monitors into one, revolutionising the way creators and developers work. By using a single setup, creators and developers who stack layers or scripts do not have to scroll endlessly to check them, and there is no need to separate work areas for each monitor.

“Many companies have started adopting a hybrid working model that requires employees to work from both the office and home due to the current situation. With the changes in the way we work, professionals and creatives will need to ensure that their productivity levels can be maintained and elevated – which is why we are bringing the new LG DualUp Monitor Ergo to the Malaysian shores for the very first time. Stacked dual monitors can benefit professionals and creatives tremendously as it increases their performance depth, while offering versatility and enabling good posture,” said Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia.

Two is Always Better Than One

LG DualUp Monitor Ergo is a multitasking powerhouse ideal for a variety of tasks such as content creation and coding. It has a Nano IPS display with an innovative Square Double QHD (2,560 x 2,880) resolution monitor. It has the same screen real estate as two 21.5-inch displays stacked without bezels and a vertical split view function that allows users to see more in a single glance.

There will be no more neck pain

The LG DualUp Monitor Ergo boosts productivity and convenience by elevating user comfort with the ultra-adjustable LG Ergo stand, which saves space while securely clamping to most desks and tables. The LG DualUp Monitor Ergo’s double-height screen reduces side-to-side head movements, which are the leading cause of neck pain.

LG Ergo Stand has improved on the previous stand by adding tilting, swivelling, and extracting features. It can swivel up to 335°, which is wider than the previous ergo stand’s 280°. You can maintain high productivity while increasing your focus and immersion by adjusting the Ergo Stand more precisely. Its diverse range of positions allows you to tailor the height, angle, and depth of your monitor to the most ergonomic position for your body.

Your Desk’s Versatile Display Station

The USB Type-C support allows for a single cable connection to screens and mobile devices, as well as 7Wx2ch stereo speakers with WavesMaxxAudio®, which deliver realistic sound effects and powerful audio. This allows you to make use of the extra desk space and arrange additional devices and items.

Additionally, multiple devices can be connected at the same time using the multiport for HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 3.0. Ambient LightSensor adjusts the brightness of the screen based on its surroundings, and Live Color Low Blue Light reduces only blue light, reducing eye strain even during long work hours. The PBP (Picture-by-Picture) function allows creators to easily divide areas required for their work.

The new LG DualUp Monitor Ergo is now available in Malaysia nationwide, at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of RM2,948.
