HyperX offer on a seamless lineup of combined experience for MousePad and Mouse experience

Mouse and Mats, these seems to be slowly become one of the essentials especially if you are a gamer, but to me and most in general, this is a combination accessories that keep things in sync with your computing gear or companion, even for normal users as well. Today we will be reviewing two products that works well with your gaming needs, the HyperX Pulsefire Mat RGB XL and Pulsefire Haste mouse, a combination of a large mat and mouse that is highly customizable and configurable easily.

Design – HyperX Pulsefire Mat RGB XL

The HyperX Pulsefire Mat RGB XL material is based on woven cloth surface, which is a thick surface that is design to have a good grip of accessories and mouse that you place on top, which this provide accuracy when moving your mouse. While at the same time looking the sides you will see seamless stitching with the RGB strip lighting that provides good amount of strength that holds the strip, to provide a long lasting use and design appeal to it. The bottom of the Mousepad is further reinforced with rubbers with combed design which provides a stable base and lesser stress marks over the surface table.

Features – HyperX Pulsefire Mat RGB XL

As the name mentioned has RGB, the Pulsefire Mat main features is the RGB lighting, which has 2 zones of lighting giving a synchronize combination of your RGB modes chosen. Another thing I love is the braided USB cable, which provides better cable protections and this ensure a longer lasting usage overall. On top left of the Mousepad there is a 3 button control which you can customize and store up to 3 settings on lighting styles and modes as presets. All of these can be configured via HP’s NGENUITY software which can be downloaded via Microsoft Store which we will touch further on the functions.

Design – HyperX Pulsefire Haste Mouse

The HyperX Pulsefire Haste Mouse design is based on a light weighted plastic with honeycomb holes located on the palm, bottom and lower part of the left and right clicks, which brings the weight of the mouse to just 59 grams, which is light but ensures smooth controls. The default white feet pads is also suitable for most surfaces, even without mousepads. Apart from that you get your usual RGB configurable lights on the scroll area, two side buttons and one DPI on the fly settings button. Overall the Honeycomb style works to provide airflow to the users, especially suitable for sweaty palms

Features – HyperX Pulsefire Haste Mouse

The mouse has some several features, the first is the PTFE skates located on the bottom of the mouse, which makes gliding smooth even without mousepads. Next is the HyperX USB braided cable which provided easier movement and lesser friction when moving it around, hence providing better durability. The Haste in the package includes a set of grip tape which provides additional control and comfort on clicking and gripping on the sides of the mouse. Clicking on the mouse, HyperX introduces TTC Golden micro dustproof switches which has anti dust coating while it is rated up to 60 million lifetime clicks.

Benchmarks and Experience – HyperX Pulsefire Haste and Mouse Pad XL

We decided to use both the Mouse and Mousepad during the testing, from movements, gliding and click accuracy during the test, we found it is very pleasant, quick and highly responsive throughout usage, highly suitable for FPS, MMO and RTS genre that requires great amount of clicks with move responses which takes higher DPI to advantage over certain users that may have small movement space on the table. All of the experience and testing were done on right hand mode.

Applications and Software – HyperX Pulsefire Haste and Mouse Pad XL

Both the Mouse and Mousepad uses Ngenuity App which can be downloaded from HyperX webpage and it offer a few variety of settings such as speed adjustments, keys re-assignment, RGB effect modes, polling rates and RGB brightness. Combining the Pulsefire Mouse Pad XL will allow the software to link both of the mouse and mousepad together setting up the same RGB lighting style sequence to keep the whole ecosystem synchronize at the same time with just a few clicks. If you have any HyperX RGB compatible accessories such as Mechanical Keyboard or Headsets, you can use the same app and link it together as well.
