OnePlus is back again, and this time OnePlus has introduce two new models to the local Malaysian market with the Nord 2T 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G which bring price competitively to the market as an entry toward the Mid Tier Performance Smartphone segment and bringing more 5G devices to the local shores. Today we will look at the quick unboxing and impression of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G comes in a white color box. Upon unboxing you will get the following as below
- OnePlus Nord 2T 5G Phone
- USB A to C charging cable
- 80W SUPERVOOC power adapter
- Soft Case
- SIM Ejector
- Pre-applied screen protector installed on the screen of the phone
- User Manual & Quick Start Guide
Do take note that OnePlus Nord 2T 5G does not come with 3.5mm headphone jack or converter in the box, however its pretty easy to get one at any of your favorite phone accessories shop, or if you have a current one lying around from any of the brand or generic ones, you can use it back as well with no issues. Well, at least you still get a charger, and OnePlus is kind to provide an 80W fast charger in the box.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G comes in two colors, Jade Fog and Grey Shadow. The color that we got for the unboxing is the Jade Fog, which bring in the back glossy lamination with a clear OnePlus logo etched in the middle with sides following the same color, giving it and impression of a 2 piece of body construction combined into one.
The Design, Look and Feel
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G weighs at 190 grams, which is considered as a right feel and size to hold with good gripping on the side of the device, easy to hold and use with one hand, it also features an AMOLED display with high refresh rates up to 90Hz. This means using it under the sunlight or room environment is excellent with good overall navigation experience with the device with HDR10 capability.
Looking at the back of the phone you will spot an island of lenses consisting of one 50MP wide lens with OIS, one ultrawide lens and one macro lens followed by a dual camera flash. Over to the front side, which is the main display there is one auto HDR wide angle camera. All of the camera in the phone is able to capture wide angle images, with Wide Angle and Portrait mode as part of giving it a better experience for its existing and new users alike. Specifically over the rear camera you have a choice of video recording up to 4K resolution.
Overall on my few days of impression with the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, it is a phone that is simple and elegant in outlook, yet houses a set of good rear and front camera setup that attracts casual snappers and VLoggers alike. With its high refresh rate on display, this makes it a candidate choice for mobile gamers too. At this point of writing the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is now selling at a starting price of RM1899 on 19th of July 2022 HERE. Stay tuned with the full review which we will be publishing it soon.
