- Free Fire Challengers Series Season 2 returns this 12 June!
- Teams from Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka will compete in a single competition and share a USD30,000 prize pool in the new format.
- Registrations for the Challengers Series Season 2 In-game Qualifiers will begin on 9 June.
Free Fire esports fans and players are in for a treat this June, as the local Challengers Series tournaments return for a second season!
Unlike the previous Challengers Series, the tournament will now include Free Fire teams from four regions – Malaysia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka – competing for the title of Free Fire Challengers Series champion. The tournament will be streamlined into a single competition in which teams will compete for the title of best in the region and a share of the USD30,000 prize pool.
The Challengers Series Season 2 In-game Qualifiers will be open for registration from June 9 to 11, with the Match Day on June 12. Players from the four regions who have attained a minimum Level 20 and Platinum 1 rank in Battle Royale mode will be eligible to compete in the event. Registered teams will then play against one another on Sunday, 12 June, from 1PM to 6PM (GMT+8).
The top 24 teams will then go to the Qualifier Finals, where the top 18 will be determined. The winning teams will progress to the League Circuit, in which they will compete for a spot in the Grand Finals on July 30 and 31.
Challengers Series Season 2 will include 6 seeded teams playing in the Qualifier Finals stage of the next MCP (Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines) Majors iteration, which will determine the region’s representative for the next Free Fire World Series. The Challenger Series Season 2 will out a journey that will showcase the talent of local esports teams from Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka, as well as provide them with the opportunity to compete at a global level.
