With the recent announcement of Malaysia’s first ever 5G Voice over New Radio (VoNR) call made over a live 5G network with the OPPO Find X3 Pro, fans have more reasons to enjoy OPPO’s 5G-ready devices.

Alongside this, OPPO fans can look forward to VoNR being made available soon in the OPPO Find X5 Pro flagship series when the 5G SA network is commercialized in Malaysia. VoNR enables voice or video calls over the Standalone 5G network, much like its predecessor, the OPPO Find X3 Pro. This feature helps users to seamlessly switch to a high definition video call while offering a significantly lower latency and improved sound and picture quality, elevating the video call experience altogether.

Alongside this, the OPPO Find X5 Pro has been tested at OPPO’s Over-The-Air (OTA) Lab using signal generators to test the effectiveness of the phone’s antennas for reliable signal strength in all kinds of usage scenarios. For users, the carefully designed antenna array will ensure that they can have the best experience not only while making audio or video calls but also enjoy low latency during video watching or while playing mobile games.

In addition, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is built smart in order to find network optimization no matter where users may be. For instance, users are able to significantly reduce disconnection recovery time in situations such as being in an elevator.

The Elevator Mode can intelligently identify elevator disconnection scenarios and reduce the disconnection recovery time which typically takes anywhere from 30-120 seconds to just 5 seconds! In high-speed trains, railroads and subways, users will also enjoy the lowest network drop probability on the OPPO Find X5 Pro, as compared to other smartphones in the industry.

This Find Network Optimization feature is a testament to OPPO’s commitment to helping users stay connected to their digital lives and partner users through real-life connectivity scenarios. With these features equipped in the brand new OPPO Find X5 Pro, users can be ready for when 5G officially rolls out in Malaysia.
