– With the concept of a ‘Legend Reborn’, the HUAWEI P50 Pro continues to push boundaries of true-to-life photography with the True-Chroma Dual-Matrix Camera Design that perfectly combines form and function to explore the essence of photography and artistry.
The HUAWEI P50 Pro embodies HUAWEI’s own brand of imaging technology, featuring an innovative Dual-Matrix Camera Design that includes a powerful main camera matrix and zoom camera matrix. The line-up is also the first in the industry to support HUAWEI XD Optics, which allow it to go beyond the limits of physics. Computational photography is also improved, empowering the camera system to deliver true-to-life colours and supporting super high definition and dynamic range capture, as well as a more powerful Ultra Snapshot functionality.
Discover True-to-Life Photography: Reaching New Heights With True-Form Dual-Matrix Camera
The True-Form Dual-Matrix Camera System on HUAWEI P50 Pro comprises two lenses –the True-Chroma Camera (Colour) and True-Chroma Camera (Monochrome)– and a multi-spectrum colour temperature sensor. The hardware is integrated with the Super High-res Image Processing Engine, resulting in images that are brighter, shot with more light taken in, cleaner and more detailed, to provide true-to-life photography.
HUAWEI P50 Pro has a periscope zoom lens supports maximum zoom range of up to 200 times. It supports a new-generation AIS Pro zoom image stabilisation technology and are complemented by all-new OIS hardware.
HUAWEI XD Optics: Revolutionary Physics-Defying Innovation
HUAWEI P50 Pro debuts with support for HUAWEI XD Optics – an unprecedented solution that corrects the optical differentials and restores the details in images. This solution is capable of improving the image information recovery of the imaging system by up to 25 per cent. It acts as a bridge that connects the real world with the imaging system, and the imaging system with the background processing algorithms.
The data is stored as is at the system level, allowing the smartphone to produce images that are fully representative of real life. This set of algorithms bring the features of the optical system, mechanical components and electrical sensors into the fold, forming a next-gen, hardware-software integrated imaging system.
Breakthrough Camera Technology For True-Chroma Output And Improved Picture Quality
For HUAWEI P50 Pro, HUAWEI created a comprehensive solution and tweaked over 2,000 colours in the full colour gamut. This system allowed the HUAWEI P50 Pro to faithfully reproduce what the users see in the form of an image.
The HUAWEI P50 Pro has an ultra-wide angle lens with an equivalent focal length of 13mm and it supports up to 200 times zoom range. The 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens can also support macro photography, capable of focusing on objects as close as 2.5cm away from the lens. The zoom lens support HUAWEI XD Optics and AIS Pro. The camera system on the HUAWEI P50 Pro allows users to easily capture steady photos holding the devices in their hands. In the digital viewfinder, the HUAWEI P50 Pro can track the subject in real time. HUAWEI P50 Pro is also equipped with telephoto facial recognition software, allowing the telephoto lens to be used for portraits and get great results.
HUAWEI P50 Pro has a True-Chroma Front Camera and can focus on objects as close as 14cm away from the lenses. Even a simple one-tap selfie can be instantly edited with a beauty chart.
