BIG NAVI is finally here

AMD today announces the Radeon 6000 series, which the reveal involves only the Radeon portions only and Big Navi is built on 7nm chip architecture

It is said that the new BIG Navi features better bandwidth with Infinity Cache reduces bottleneck and faster speed in graphics processing, especially gaming while reducing power consumption. This time it is mentioned that it will include Ray Tracing as well.

While the RDNA 2 is finally announced, AMD said they begin to work on the RDNA 3 architecture

AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

The Radeon RX 6800 XT features 72 compute units, carries 2015MHz game clock and 2250MHz Boost clock with 128MB infinity cache along with 16GB GDDR6 Memory. While it only takes 300w power draw, which is slightly lower compared to RTX 3080.

Features such as Radeon Boot and AMD Latency Reduction technology be available along with Direct X XII Ultimate API together with FidelityFX. Super resolution and Ambient Occlusion is there as a support as well which the Game Godfall supports. Other games such as World of Warcraft revealed to support Ray Tracing as well.

The card will be available on November 18th 2020 with no local Malaysian pricing indicated yet.

Along together with today announcement, AMD reveal RX6800 and RX6900 XT with smart access memory technologies which provides good upgrade path for gamers.

The RX 6900 XT will be available from mid December 2020 also with no local pricing indicator so far.
