ASUS today announced the new ROG Phone 3 series, the latest generation of the world’s most powerful and exciting gaming smartphone. The series includes the flagship ROG Phone 3 & the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition.
This announcement also marks the ROG Mobile phone series has built in 5G capabilities thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and 865+ SOC that delivers a combination of fast processing speed, superior Adreno graphics with 144Hz 6.59 inch AMOLED display.
SOC, Memory and connectivity
The ROG Phone 3 uses the Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G Mobile platform, which enables gigabit 5G connectivity and awesome Wi-Fi 6 performance.
Up to 16 GB of the latest LPDDR5 RAM and up to an ultrafast 512 GB UFS 3.1 ROM, ROG Phone 3 delivers the performance gamers needed to enjoy a super-smooth gaming experience with no limitations or compromises.
X Mode software now allows customization of different system parameters to suit any gaming or using scenario. In conjunction with carefully calibrated defaults for optimum performance, it’s easier than ever for serious gamers to unlock the full power of ROG Phone 3.

The Gaming device you need on the go
The ROG Phone 3 comes with AirTrigger 3 with motion sensor , which is an upgrade over the previous AirTrigger, now hosts 3 side better enhanced sensors with added swipe gesture and dual partition button emulation, giving the same game console level experience
Side mounted USB C mounting port is another good feature for gamers where it does not interrupt gamer while charging and better accessibility over additional accessories to plug in, such as the AeroActive Cooler 3, also acts as a pass-through USB Connector, 3.5mm audio jack and a kickstand to support the ROG Phone 3 on a table.
