Snapdragon X2 Series Accelerates the Next Phase of AI PCs
Qualcomm Technologies has officially introduced the new Snapdragon X2 Series, bringing enhanced AI performance, improved gaming support, and more advanced on-device AI experiences to the next generation of Windows AI PCs.
Designed around Qualcomm’s efficiency-first architecture, Snapdragon AI PCs continue to focus on delivering strong performance alongside long battery life, quiet operation, and thin, lightweight designs tailored for modern mobile users. The latest Snapdragon X Series and Snapdragon X2 Series platforms are built to support increasingly AI-driven workflows across work, study, content creation, and entertainment.

The new Snapdragon X2 Series introduces upgrades in multitasking, collaboration, streaming, and gaming capabilities while expanding compatibility across modern PC gaming experiences. Dedicated NPU hardware also enables faster and more advanced on-device AI processing, supporting the growing shift toward AI-powered applications and productivity tools.

According to Alicia Lim, Head of Sales and Marketing Southeast Asia at Qualcomm Technologies, the AI PC category is rapidly evolving beyond traditional hardware specifications, with users now prioritising real-world experiences such as battery endurance, portability, responsiveness, and seamless AI integration into daily workflows.
Snapdragon X Series and Snapdragon X2 Series powered AI PCs are currently available across multiple form factors and price points from brands including Acer, ASUS, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft.
Among the latest devices arriving in Malaysia with Snapdragon X2 Series processors are the ASUS Zenbook A16, Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1, and Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x.
Malaysian consumers can purchase Snapdragon AI PCs through retailers such as Harvey Norman, Thunder Match Technology, and PC Image.
